When Zalem discovered the didgeridoo in 2002, he had never learned music. Exploring breath, circular breathing and rhythm led him to develop his own way of playing, composing and understanding music theory. He shares this approach on stage and in workshops around the world.
- Understand each technique. Zalem isolates each sound, explains how breath, tongue and voice create it, then puts it back into a rhythm.
- Turn technique into music. Step by step, the exercises take you from your first sounds to dozens of broken-down rhythms and accompaniment tracks.
- Build your own language. Circular breathing, wobble, beatbox and composition become tools to connect your ideas and find your own way of playing.
The courses share Zalem’s precision and musical philosophy while leaving room to try, repeat and create at your own pace.
